100ft. green solar light tape and panels mounted 100ft. perimeter fence of basketball court w/ 4 ft. letters.

Light installation collaboration with the Brownsville Keepers youth cohort with Dong Ping Wong. Dr. Green Playground, Brownsville Brooklyn on Sutter Ave and Mother Gaston Blvd. The installation builds on Beyond Memorial past work to reclaim sites of loss for liberation. The youth wanted to address lighting and the perception of safety at this basketball court. We held a series of design and light workshops to develop a concept for the space. We Outside became both a theme and anthem to reclaim this space. News coverage video of process here.
